Spring Trout 2005
And the hatches start. Blessed with a great Blue Winged Olive hatch, fishing was fast and furious! Note the armada of little sailboats, adult BWO's on the water in the background of the pictures.
The smolt rainbows like the BWO's as well. What a blast as the rises kept up almost all day and #'s where just forgotten in the fun. All fish were released, untouched whenever possible.
BWO hatch. What fun! Early fish caught on the BWO Emerger
I just love these little resident rainbows, I guess.
Fattest resident rainbow in this section of river. Glutton, smolt out already!
You never know what you'll find around the next bend in the trail! The fish are there. Try a cast!
Natural beauty, untouched piece of water. This is what headwaters are supposed to look like!
